Tigé Boats promotes Rick Correll to president
ABILENE, Texas – Tigé Boats has promoted Rick Correll to president of the company, it reported in a statement today. Correll has served as Tigé vice president and general manager for the past 18 months after joining the company in 2006.
With 30 years of experience in the marine industry, Correll has worked for some of the largest manufacturers in the marine industry and been involved with developing innovative ideas that have resulted in several patents within the industry, according to the boat builder. Since joining Tigé, Correll has been in charge of the entire manufacturing process as well as overseeing the company’s administrative and sales/marketing functions.
“Rick has helped guide Tigé through one of the most challenging periods in the marine industry,” said Tigé CEO Charlie Pigeon. “His leadership and experience are a big reason for Tigé’s current excellent financial strength, our continued growth and our outstanding position in today’s inboard market.”
Pigeon added that Correll’s emphasis on employee training, team building and innovation throughout the company have served Tigé well during recent months and have resulted in a new level of efficiency and product quality.
