Glenn Hughes to head Bonnier Marine Group

WINTER PARK, Fla. – Bonnier Corporation has promoted Glenn Hughes to group publisher for the company’s marine division, Bonnier said in a statement today.

Bonnier brands in the group include Boating Life, Cruising World, Fly Fishing in Salt Waters, Marlin, Motor Boating, Power Cruising, Sailing World, Salt Water Sportsman, Sport Fishing, Yachting and the websites, and

Hughes’ primary responsibilities will be to create and implement strategic plans and oversee advertising programs across these brands. Hughes was promoted from his position as publisher for three of the group’s fishing titles.

He has been publisher of Sport Fishing and Marlin since 1997 and added Fly Fishing in Salt Waters in 1999. He started with the company in 1991 as ad director for Sport Fishing. During his time leading the fishing group, Hughes added television, video, tournaments, events and Web to build a complete multimedia marketing group to support the needs of the saltwater fishing market.
