Custom Marine hires new director of marketing and sales

NEENAH, Wis. – Marine industry supplier Custom Marine, Inc. (CMI) has appointed Tony Esposito as director of marketing and sales for the company, it reported in a recent statement.

In this position, Esposito will be responsible for creating marketing and sales strategies intended to strengthen CMI’s position as a manufacturer of high-performance stainless steel exhaust systems and accessories designed specifically for the marine marketplace. He also will work to develop and maintain strong working relationships with OEM boat builders and marine products distributors with the intent of ensuring CMI continues to deliver the performance products they need to meet their customer’s demands, as well as strengthen CMI’s non-marine businesses, according to CMI.

“Tony has spent several years in the marine industry selling and promoting a range of products – from outboard engines to high performance, marine racing engines and accessories – and has a very thorough knowledge and understanding of the industry, and more importantly, our customers,” said Joe Zelinski, president of CMI.

During his tenure in the marine industry, Esposito has held the positions of public relations manager for Mercury Marine and director of marketing and sales for Mercury Racing. Most recently, Esposito served on the marketing and sales team of Buckaroo Communications where he managed marketing and advertising activities designed to support the company’s marine and automotive enthusiast publications.

Esposito and his family will continue to reside in Fond du Lac, Wis.
