MBIA elects officers
LIVONIA, Mich. – The Michigan Boating Industries Association held elections for several of the organization’s leadership positions during its annual Recreational Boating Educational Conference Dec. 8-10, MBIA said in a release yesterday.
Mike Briskey of Luna Pier Harbour Club was re-elected for his second three-year term as a statewide director of the association.
Kevin Carney of Grand Bay Marine was elected to serve as the Northern Regional director.
MBIA officers for 2005 were also elected. John Hatfield of Howe Interlakes Marine was elected as chairman of the board. Pete Beauregard, Jr., of Colony Marine Sales was elected vice chair and Patti Smith of Silver Spray Sports was elected to serve as secretary/treasurer.
