First MarineMax – Hatteras Billfish Invitational to be held
FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla. – Recreational boat retailer MarineMax plans to hold the first MarineMax – Hatteras Billfish Invitational April 27-30 at Marsh Harbour in the Bahamas, the company said in a recent release.
The MarineMax – Hatteras Billfish Invitational – which the company plans to hold annually – will be a qualifying event in both the Rolex – IGFA Offshore Championship Series and the World Billfish Series. As such, top anglers at the tournament will be invited to participate in the Rolex – IGFA Offshore Championship and the World Billfish Championship.
The Abaco Beach Resort & Boat Harbour in Marsh Harbour will be the headquarters for the tournament, which will be a release only competition. IGFA rules will be followed.
