Crystal-Pierz Marine appoints president and chief operating officer

CRYSTAL, Minn. – Crystal-Pierz Marine has named Luke Kujawa as president and COO for the dealership, the company said in a statement Tuesday. As a key member of Crystal-Pierz Marine’s executive leadership team, Kujawa’s responsibilities include refining the company business plan and overseeing the direction of operations for its 11 Midwest locations and 225 employees.

“We are continuing the family-oriented legacy that my parents have built, yet are committed to strengthening the company with some changes that will help pace our steady growth, and consequent market presence, by bringing in sound business practices,” Kujawa said. “This is a natural progression that is steering us on the path we’ve been heading toward over the past few years.”

Kujawa previously served as Crystal-Pierz Marine’s vice president of sales and marketing and has been an integral force in the boat dealer’s accomplishments and expansion over the past ten years. His new position is part of a strategic move in the company’s restructuring to compliment and manage its continued growth.

“Luke’s leadership skills are proven,” said Myron Kujawa, owner and founder of Crystal-Pierz Marine. “He’s cut his teeth through hard work and has a nose for retail marketing. I am confident that his team will empower employees and carry on our unparalleled promise and delivery of customer service. His experience, training, enthusiasm and excitement will benefit us all. I’m confident that he will guide the Crystal-Pierz family through the ever-changing landscape of the boating industry.”

In his new role, Luke Kujawa plans to continue cultivating relationships with manufacturers and vendors while building a world-class staff equipped to handle the challenges the industry puts forth.
