Marine Mover – BoatU.S. expands Government Affairs staff

ALEXANDRIA, Va. – Margaret Bonds Podlich, formerly the assistant vice president for environmental programs at the BoatU.S. Foundation for Boating Safety and Clean Water, has been promoted to the newly created position of vice president of Government Affairs for the Boat Owners Association of The United States, the association reported in a statement yesterday.

“Podlich’s addition to the BoatU.S. Government Affairs team will help expand the association’s federal and state government affairs activities,” said BoatU.S. Senior Vice President for Government and Public Affairs Michael Sciulla.

“Margaret’s passion for boating will be put to good use in this position,” said BoatU.S. President Jim Ellis. “She has a proven track record of relationship building, working on diverse topics, and being a problem solver.”

Working in this new role, she will report jointly to Ellis and Sciulla.
