Marine Mover – DiSchino named president and CEO of the Hinckley Co.

SOUTHWEST HARBOR, Maine – Gerard DiSchino has been elected president and CEO of the Maine-based yacht manufacturer Hinckley Co, replacing retiring CEO Ralph Willard, who will become chairman of the board of the company, Hinckley Co. said in a release yesterday.

DiSchino joined the Hinckley Co. in 2000 as general manager of the company’s subsidiary, the Ted Hood Co. He was then promoted to the position of resident of the Hinckley Yacht Service Division and in 2003 was named as the company’s COO. In this position, DiSchino has been responsible for all five Hinckley Service yards and the boat building operations in Trenton, Maine.
