PROVIDENCE, R.I. — The Tiverton Yacht Club may operate its own marina, according to a decision by the Rhode Island Supreme Court.
This ruling overturns a lower court’s decision.
According to the Boston Globe, a state superior court judge ruled the marina illegal due to zoning violations. The Supreme Court ruled that the marina is on separate property and not subject to the zoning violation.
