Boats.com debuts new magazine
SEATTLE – Boats.com, a division of Dominion Enterprises, has launched Boats.com Magazine, a weekly publication that features full-color classified listings of new and used boats from both dealers and private sellers, the company said in a release yesterday.
The premier issue debuted on March 15, with more than 14,000 copies distributed to 1,200 locations throughout Washington, Oregon and Idaho.
Slated for expansion into three additional U.S. regions this year, Boats.com Magazine’s targeted outlets include marinas, yacht clubs, supermarkets, convenience stores, marine supply stores and other high-traffic consumer locations.
“Boats.com Magazine provides a more complete strategy to better serve sellers by getting their product out in front of more consumers using multiple channels,” said James Nolan, group general manager of boats.com and YachtWorld.com. “Our two-tiered approach allows users to export listings that will appear both online and in print form with just the click of a mouse.”
Ads appearing in the magazine are also posted on the boats.com Web site, and dealers are supplied a unique toll-free phone number that corresponds to each listing.
