Wellcraft recognizes dealers

SARASOTA, Fla. — Wellcraft Boats recognized five of its dealers with the company’s CSI awards and its top performing and new dealers at its annual dealer meeting.

The CSI awards recognize excellence in customer satisfaction in accordance with established NMMA standards, while the top-performing dealers are noted based on retail sales.

The CSI award winners are:

  • Anchor Boats of North East, Md. Owners: Ed, Matt and Edward Trainer
  • Lynnhaven Marine, Virginia Beach, Va., Owners: Chuck Guthrie, Marion Goodman and Steve Joyner
  • Bass River Marine, West Dennis, Mass. Owner: John Kane
  • Salty Dawg Marine, Jacksonville, Fla. Owners: Robert, Laurie and Jeremy Reece
  • Carolina Boat and Yacht, Little River and Charleston, S.C. Owners: Mike Glover and Bryan Edwards
  • The spirit of the company’s CSI Award Program is to elevate the importance of customer satisfaction programs and recognize industry best practices in a positive manner.

    “This year’s CSI winners have proven, once again, that business success and first-rate customer service go hand in hand,” said Mike O’Connell, senior vice president and general manager of Wellcraft.

    The top 10 Retail Sales Performers include:

  • Sundance Marine, Southeast Florida (top sales for fourth consecutive year). Owners: Joe Clawges, Rich Clawges and Rick Levy
  • Marine Dynamics, Englewood and Fort Myers, Fla. Owner: Paul Collom
  • Carolina Boat and Yacht, Little River and Charleston, S.C. Owners: Mike Glover and Bryan Edwards
  • Ocean Beach Marina, Lavallette, N.J. Owner: Lou Mercatani
  • Atlantic Yacht Sales, Sea Bright, N.J. Owner: Tom Morford
  • Anchor Boats, North East, Maryland. Owners: Ed, Matt and Edward Trainer
  • Colton’s Point Marine, Colton’s Point, Md. Owners: Greg Nucci and Vince Forte
  • Nature Coast Marine, Homosassa, Fla. Owners: Doug and Shelly Doty
  • Matthews Marine, Bluffton, S.C. Owner: Rob Matthews
  • Route Six Auto and Marine, North Dartmouth, Mass. Owners: Randy and Tim Medeiros
  • The best performing New Dealer of the Year Award went to Tom Morford’s Atlantic Yacht Sales, Sea Bright, N.J., Wellcraft’s No. 5 retailer of the year. Seaway Marine was recognized as Wellcraft’s International Dealer of the Year.

    “I’m proud of what our dealers have been able to accomplish,” said O’Connell. “They have reached high levels of sales achievement while maintaining the kind of service that helped make Wellcraft a household name.”
