Radio Holland receives ISO 9001:2000

ROTTERDAM, Netherlands – Marine electronics provider the Radio Holland Group recently received the ISO 9001:2000 multi-site certificate from Lloyds Register Nederland B.V. (Rotterdam) for its Quality Management System, the company said in a press release.

The certificate applies to the worldwide organization of Radio Holland, which employs more than 700 people worldwide in 51 offices and achieves an annual turnover of approximately 145 million Euro. Almost all Radio Holland subsidiaries (now counting in total 51 branches worldwide) are mentioned in the annex of the certificate and every subsidiary will receive its own certificate. Radio Holland said it had spent more than a year to achieve this remarkable landmark worldwide.

One of the unique features is that the ISO ‘Management System’, the basis for the certificate, is maintained through a worldwide intranet system, to which all RH branches have easy access and with which they work to keep the system updated. It means that identical procedures are in place worldwide within the Radio Holland organization for the mandatory requirements of the ISO9001:2000 standard.

The company said the management system of the Radio Holland Group is now in place and ready to grow where necessary.
