C-Dory moves into new production facility

KENT, Wash. – C-Dory Marine, Inc. has purchased a 50,000-square-foot building in Auburn, Wash., and has moved the two facilities where it builds its Skagit Orca and Olympic boats into the new, larger space, the company reported Friday.

The move was planned for over a month, but accomplished in three days, according to Jeff Messmer, C-Dory vice president of Sales and Marketing.

“As of Friday the 19th, we are completely moved in,” Messmer said. “Our new facility will allow us to be more efficient in our boat building process. It will also provide us with the platform to build our new 26-foot Tomcat that we are introducing this spring and to increase production of our Skagit Orca line.”

Messmer said the company also signed its newest Skagit Orca dealer – Maritime Bay Marine in Wisconsin – last Friday.
