First day back
Yesterday I felt a little like a kid getting on the bus for the first time after a long summer vacation. I’ve been on maternity leave for the past few months, so this is my first week in the office since June.
Just like those school days, I find it hard to believe that it’s already the fall, but it feels great to be reunited with the Boating Industry team and with you, the people who keep the marine business running day in and day out.
While I’m sure I’m not the only one who misses having the summers off, the nice part about being an adult is that we no longer have to write those “What I Did This Summer” essays. With that said, I’d love to hear how your business fared this summer and what you’re planning for the months ahead.
I’m getting caught up on what I missed in the boating business this summer, reading Top 100 Applications, putting together my schedule for IBEX and planning for this year’s Marine Dealer Conference & Expo.
Respond to this blog, shoot me an e-mail, give me a call or track me down later this month in Louisville or in Orlando this November to share what you’re working on and let me know how the Boating Industry team can best serve you in print, online and in person this season. I look forward to hearing from you.
