Heyday grows lineup with the all-new WT-Surf
Heyday has introduced the WT-Surf, the latest and largest addition to its line of wake sports boats. The new boat features a 17-person capacity and dual-console arrangement.
With an overall length of 25 feet, 1 inch, the WT-Surf has a running surface of 23 feet, 6 inches.
“We listen to boaters’ wants and needs, and we keep innovating new ways to deliver,” said Heyday’s President Keith Yunger. “They want a wake boat that gets the job done for the riders, and is also comfortable for friends and family to spend the day on. And they want it for tens of thousands less than the competition.”
The integrated ballast tanks, which are controlled by simple toggle switches at the helm, can accept up to 2,800 pounds of water combined. For a consistent wake, an analog fuel gauge and mechanical speed control are also included, with optional Zero Off GPS Speed Control available.
For wakeboarding, an extra-wide transom helps counteract prop torque, preserving the wake symmetry riders value.
The bow offers plenty of seating, and all three seats can store items like surfboards and life jackets. In the cockpit lounge, a removable backrest allows for forward cruising or watching the rider in back.
The stern’s “hot tub” seats are curved for comfort whether facing aft or forward, and lift for easy access to dry gear storage from the cockpit and wet gear from the swim platform. Upholstery includes increased foam density and new double-seam stitching, and standard armrests deliver added comfort.
The WT-Surf features a windshield with opening center panel and side wings, and extra-deep gunnels. The wake tower folds aft for easier storage, and delivers quality sound via a 4-speaker Bluetooth-enabled sound system with head unit, pre-wired for extra speakers.
An optional ski pylon located on the transom step adds to the WT-Surf’s sport capabilities. The boat is finished with non-skid SeaDek flooring throughout, including a new walkthrough from the cockpit to the removable swim platform. The WT-Surf’s exterior profile is complete with gel coat graphics.
Power choices include a Crusader Challenger 5.7L 350 horsepower, a Mercury 6.2L 320 horsepower, and others providing up to 409 horsepower.
