Triton boat awarded at Bassmaster event
MONTGOMERY, Ala. — A $30,000 Triton 18 XS bass boat with a Mercury 150 OptiMax engine was awarded as a part of the Bass Pro Shops Bassmaster Central Open circuit. Cynthia Bryan of Farmervill, La., won the prize.
Bryan was one of 12 finalists in the Toyota Trucks All-Star Fan Favorite contest and, in order to win the boat, had to rely on the performance of a circuit pro. All finalists were paired with a fishing pro; Bryan was randomly paired with Ott DeFoe, an Elite Series rookie from Tennessee.
Bryan is the owner of Old River Lure Co., which makes spinner baits and tungsten weights. She plans to wrap the boat to promote her business, according to an article in the Shreveport Times.
