Industry veteran Don Rocheleau dies
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Don Rocheleau, president of Don Rocheleau Associates and a National Marine Manufacturers Association Hall of Fame inductee, died in his Grand Rapids home on Thursday, Dec. 17 after a battle with cancer, according to a statement from Premier Products. He was 76.
Rocheleau spent 33 years at Attwood Corp. in Lowell, Mich., retiring as president and CEO. More recently, Don Rocheleau Associates was the North American representative for Premier Products Ltd., which manufactures stainless steel hardware for the marine industry. As part of Rocheleau’s succession plan, responsibility for sales and marketing of Premier Products will transfer to the JB Dunn Co. of Bradenton, Fla., Premier reported.
Memorial services will be held on Dec. 22, 2009, at 11 a.m. with visitation from 10 to 11 a.m. at O’Brien Eggebeen-Gerst Chapel, 3980 Cascade Road S.E., Grand Rapids, Mich., 49546.
