FERGUS FALLS, Minn. – ShoreMaster, Inc. has named Don Hurley national account sales and marketing manager, the company said in a statement today.
Hurley will expand direct sale distribution channels and establish mass merchant accounts, according to the company. With ShoreMaster’s February Aviva Sports acquisition, the company plans to expand the marketing distribution channels for water toys that enhance lifestyles on the shoreline, an effort in which the company expects Hurley to be instrumental.
“[Don’s] vast experience and success in sales and marketing will be instrumental as ShoreMaster crafts and manages a new national marketing plan that pursues direct sales, catalog and mass merchant accounts,” said Erik Ahlgren, president.
While working with FedEx, Hurley was recognized with the top sales hall of fame award. More recently, he worked with Arctic Cat, where his work on branding generated increased market share, according to ShoreMaster.
