GEM hires senior engineer

ORANGE PARK, Fla. – GEM Products has added a new senior product development engineer to its growing engineering department, the company reported in a recent statement.

Rafael Cleveland brings more than 10 years of development and design experience having worked in the automotive and aerospace industries. His previous projects include the power steering innovations currently found in the Ford Windstar, and the development of aviation high temperature Fire-Sleeves for hose protection. He received a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Central Florida, according to GEM.

“Rafael exhibits our dedication to producing the most innovative and valuable stainless steel products on the market,” said GEM President Matt Bridgewater.

Rafael will lead the engineering and research departments by raising the precision of productivity for GEM and its customers, and through overseeing engineering efforts on issues that influence the marine industry.

GEM Products manufactures, distributes and electropolishes stainless steel products for the marine industry.
