Unified Marine names new GM

NEWPORT, Tenn. – Unified Marine, Inc. has appointed Dan Sweeney to general manager, the company said in a statement today.

Sweeney joined Unified Marine in late 1999 with ten years of management experience in a large retail setting. During his tenure with Unified Marine he has grown with the company from an outside sales rep and merchandiser through customer service and into administrative rolls. He most recently served the company as national accounts manager and has worked closely with Unified’s customer base to provide product programs to fit their needs.

Sweeney recently relocated with the company to the new company facilities in Newport, Tenn. His knowledge of the marine accessory industry, sales experience and general knowledge of internal procedures qualified him for the position.
