EUFAULA, Ala. - Humminbird, a marine electronics and accessories manufacturer, has signed a partnership with angler Hank Parker to promote the Humminbird brand and products, according to a press release from the company yesterday
"Hank has a long history with Humminbird and we are ecstatic to have him back on the team,” said Judy Douglas, director of marketing. “The timing is great because Hank comes aboard just as Humminbird is reinventing fishfinders with new technology that will hold great appeal to both serious and recreational anglers."
A two-time winner of the Bassmaster Classic, Parker received his first endorsement from Humminbird when he was 18 years old.
Parker fished with one of Humminbird's new 700 Series models on a recent trip to Mexico and was "blown away" by its screen clarity, ease of use and ability to make instantaneous reading adjustments to bottom depths, the company said. Parker said he is eager to use one of the new Humminbird 900 Series models with its Side Imaging technology.
"I am overwhelmed and excited to be back with Humminbird," Parker said. "They've got some great products and the future is bright."
