Executive Spotlight: Involvement and environmentalists
As an association, our biggest problem is trying to get more involved in boating (as an association with boat shows for funding, shows seem to be flat). As a marine business and association, legislation and regulations continue to be the biggest problem we face.
Environmentalists will be a thorn in our sides for years to come. And if we all do not work together and get marine businesses involved, we will lose that fight.
People seem to forget that boaters are environmentalists – we want to keep the waters we use in good shape. But the hard core environmentalists want to go to extremes.
