South Florida dealers report improved sales, mood
FORT MEYERS, Fla. — South Florida dealers are noticing an uptick in boat sales, according to an article in the Fort Meyers News Press.
The article notes an increase in consumers and vendors attending boat shows, and that dealers and marinas have seen increased action. Tom Hansen, president of The Boat House of Cape Coral, said his sales are up 10 percent year-to-date, which is better than the national trends.
Dealers interviewed said they noticed increased interest in lower-cost and smaller boats.
