TALAHASSEE, Fla. — A proposed tax holiday for boats and other marine-related goods in Florida has died.
The marine tax holiday was attached to (and stripped from) a larger bill designed to support economic diversify the panhandle economy. These northwest Florida counties were severely effected by the 2010 Deepwater Horizon oil spill.
