Ferretti and Cabo Yachts report record Miami-show sales
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. and ADELANTO, Calif. – The Ferretti Group, an Italian multi-brand yacht builder, recorded the most successful Miami Boat Show in its history with more than $35 million in sales, it reported in a recent statement.
In addition, California’s Cabo Yachts reported it did well at the show, selling 24 units for over $15 million in sales.
“We had a tremendous show fueled by the combined strength of our products and dealers, including our recently completed relationship with MarineMax,” said Robert G. Fritsky, CEO of Ferretti Group USA, maker of the Ferretti Yachts, Pershing, Bertram, Riva, Apreamare, Mochi Craft, Custom Line, and CRN brands. “Not only did we sign many more contracts than ever at the show, we also have a substantial amount of follow-up activity that should lead to even greater sales.”
Joe Bubenzer, CEO of Bertram Yachts, said his company had tripled its sales in Miami compared to the 2003 show, Ferretti reported.
Greg Bourque, the sales manager for Cabo Yachts – a 14-year-old builder of high-end sportfishing boats – said that dealer confidence in the level of sales expected for the remainder of the year has nearly filled the company’s production schedule for the remainder of the year across all models.
Cabo Yachts called the Miami show “the most productive boat show in the company’s history.”
