IMI reports record international attendance
WARREN, R.I. — The International Marina Institute (IMI), the training subsidiary of the Association of Marina Industries (AMI), has almost completed its fall training calendar and reports that it experienced a significant spike in international attendance at its annual fall conference, marina study tour, and core training events.
“Overall we experienced a 30 percent increase in international attendance to our fall events over last year. This is an exciting time for our organization as this validates the global reach of our training,” Kayce Florio, IMI’s Training Coordinator, said in a release. “The experience and diversity that international marina managers bring to these programs has great added value for all those who participate. The reach is significant with international attendees from Singapore, UAE, and Australia to name a few.”
