KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Boat manufacturer Sea Ray’s lifestyle magazine, Sea Ray Living recently received two Crystal Awards of Excellence in the 2004 Communicator Awards Competition, the company said in a press release yesterday.
Sea Ray Living – distributed to 180,000 current and prospective Sea Ray boat owners – received a Crystal Award in both the Consumer Magazine and Magazine Writing categories. The magazine was among 3,743 entries from throughout the United States and several foreign countries. Dino Publishing, a custom-publishing firm in Chicago, produces the quarterly magazine for Sea Ray.
“The content of Sea Ray Living has always endeavored to reflect our brand commitment. Two Crystal Awards from this year’s judges for a high standard of excellence tell us the magazine is achieving that goal,” said Rob Noyes, vice president of marketing for Sea Ray. “We thank the professionals associated with the Communicator Awards for our recent Crystal Awards.”
The Communicator Awards competition honors outstanding work in the communications field. The Crystal Award is given only to companies whose entries exceed a high standard of excellence and whose communication work serves as a benchmark for the industry, according to the boat builder.
