By Mike Davin, online editor, Boating Industry — If you subscribe to our e-newsletter, you might have noticed a new edition arrived on Monday — a strange thing for a Tuesday/Friday newsletter. You might have also seen the new header that read "Boating Industry Daily" — an unlikely title for a twice-weekly publication.
I'm guessing by that point you'd deduced something was going on, and you were right: Boating Industry's e-news will no longer be limited to Tuesday/Friday editions. As the header suggests, it will be daily.
The change was brought on by reader requests and our own desire to provide more timely news updates.
Boating Industry's newsletter was originally a daily, but it was cut back to twice-weekly to reduce the strain on your inbox. We put out special reports when big news broke, but lately we felt that wasn't enough. With all the volatility the market has experienced, we felt — and our readers told us — that more frequent updates were needed to stay on top of what is happening.
We'll be providing links to news and blog posts, as well as original content for our readers including Q&As, dealer outlook articles, exclusive data and more.
For those of you who subscribe, we hope you enjoy the changes. For those who are interested in signing up, you can register here for free.
