Marine Mover: Time4 Media’s Marine Group names marketing director

NEW YORK – William P. Hogue has been named marketing director of Time4 Media’s Marine Group, which includes Yachting, MotorBoating and Salt Water Sportsman magazines, the company reported in a statement today.

Hogue is charged with overseeing all aspects of marketing across the three Marine Group titles, including research, branding promotions and added-value programs for advertisers, as well as pioneering the group’s expansion into events.

“Bill’s hire is a crucial next step in expanding the Marine Group franchise and bringing the value of our brand to a new level,” said John Young, president of the Marine Group. “Bill’s expertise and esteem within the magazine industry will help us bring these already venerable titles to a new audience, creating new opportunities for advertisers.”

Hogue comes to Time4 Media from a five-year stint at U.S. News and World Report as vice president, Marketing Services.
