Tampa Boat Show set to open tomorrow
The Progressive® Insurance Tampa Boat Show® Presented by West Marine kicks off tonight with a sneak peek VIP event and officially opens to the public tomorrow at the Tampa Convention Center and runs through Sunday.
The region’s largest and longest-running boat show will open its doors with nearly 400 boats and accessories for all different interests and price ranges. This year’s show, which is hosted on-water and inside the convention center, will have its first-ever Boating Career Day Friday morning offering an interactive Q&A session with marine professionals and local students interested in learning more about careers in the industry from technicians to manufacturing executives and more.
The show is also offering new ticket discounts for Friday evening attendees– $5 tickets after 5 p.m. – and families can take advantage of a Sunday Funday Family Pack ticket.
Also new this year is the Nautical Gin Yacht Club Lounge, which offers a tented oasis on the docks with free Wi-Fi and live music.
Additionally, educational opportunities for women, children and boaters of all levels will be offered, including the Ladies, Let’s Go Fishing workshop, Intro to Cruising Catamarans and On-Water Training presented by BoatUS.
