MarineMax breaks ground on new sales center planned for Monkey Island

MarineMax Grand Lake is set to begin construction on a new Sales Center at Tera Miranda on Monkey Island, with a groundbreaking ceremony to take place on April 4, 2019, starting at 3 p.m.

“We’re breaking ground on the start of a major construction project that will bring a premium sales center to Monkey Island. I invite you to stop by and let us give you a tour of our plan for the future,” stated Chris Byrd, MarineMax Grand Lake Store Manager. “This multi-million-dollar investment into the property, and ultimately, into the community, will allow us to continue to bring premium brands into the area, including Sea Ray and Boston Whaler. On top of that, customers will have better access to parts and service, along with the opportunity to join Getaways and Events hosted by MarineMax.”

The Tera Miranda Marina and service facility has been a staple in the community, and MarineMax plans to invest heavily in their future. The addition of a sales center will allow MarineMax to operate out of one location, with space to carry an expansive offering to local boating enthusiasts. This new area will enable MarineMax to house multiple 60-foot boats and yachts inside and out of the elements as they go through the sales process and into annual services such as bottom jobs and fiberglass repair.
