Correct Craft honored by Habitat for Humanity

Correct Craft recently accepted Habitat for Humanity Greater Orlando & Osceola County’s highest honor, the 2018 Walter Pharr Legacy Award, at the Cornerstone Guild Breakfast on the build site.

The Walter Pharr Legacy Award was created in 2016 to honor and recognize the founding of Habitat Orlando & Osceola by Board Member, Walter Pharr, and his spirit and passion to provide a hand up to families in need of affordable housing. The Walter Pharr Legacy Award is presented to an exceptional organization who partners with Habitat Orlando & Osceola through philanthropy, volunteerism and other vital support.

“Correct Craft has been a longtime supporter of Habitat Orlando & Osceola,” said Catherine Steck McManus, President and CEO of Habitat Orlando & Osceola. “They have volunteered with us, donated to our mission, advocated on our behalf, and served on our Board of Directors and Committees. They are truly a family-focused organization who has reached out into our community to embrace Habitat homeowners and strengthen our community.”

“Our team has been honored to work with Habitat for Humanity Greater Orlando & Osceola County for many years. Correct Craft has funded complete homes for deserving families, our Chief Strategy Officer, Sean Marrero, has served on the Habitat Orlando & Osceola board, and groups of our employees have volunteered many hours helping construct homes.” Correct Craft’s President and CEO, Bill Yeargin said. “While our team is deeply honored to be recognized by Habitat Orlando & Osceola, we are even more pleased to be able to positively impact our community. Philanthropy and service are two of our core values.”

Correct Craft joins Rosen Hotels & Resorts and Universal Orlando Foundation as Walter Pharr Legacy Award Recipients.
