MarineMax names new real estate vice president

MarineMax has recently named Sam Lowrey as its vice president of real estate. Lowery joined MarineMax over 14 years ago, after several years with BoatUS, where, among other duties, he also oversaw that organization’s real estate operations.

“This will be an exciting new challenge, and I look forward to expanding upon my past experience to move MarineMax forward,” Lowrey said.

During his career with MarineMax, Lowery has taken an increasing role, overseeing the company’s real estate initiatives, including lease negotiations and structure as well as real estate purchasing strategies.

Most recently, he led the efforts to acquire Bay Pointe Marina in the Boston area. As an avid boater, he often is out on the water with his family.

“With his commitment and dedication to success, Sam will surely continue to play a vital role in the future of MarineMax,” said MarineMax Chief Financial Officer Mike McLamb.
