Iconic Marine Group to showcase 2019 models at Lake of the Ozarks race

Iconic Marine Group announced they will be displaying the new 2019 Model Year Models from Fountain, Donzi, and Baja at this year’s Lake Race event on Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri.

Among the models displayed will be the existing 34CC, 38CC, and the 38CC LS from Fountain.

New for 2019, Iconic is introducing the 32 Thunder Cat powered by twin Mercury Racing 400 Outboards, the new 39 NX Center Console which represents a shift from the typical bluewater fishing center console into a more luxurious cruising platform. Another new addition being unveiled at Lake Race is the 2019 Fountain 34 CC LS which is also designed to meet the demand of a center console intended for cruising rather than hardcore fishing.

For 2019, the Donzi line will continue to include the 16, 18, and 22 classic models, with a new Donzi on the horizon. Baja will continue to produce the 24, 27, and 36 Outlaw models.

Fountain’s 40-foot Lightning Race Boat will also be at the event. The Lightning Race Boat is an ongoing project to not only bring the Kilo V-Bottom World Record home to Fountain, but also a chance to merge some of its lamination technology and other advanced performance characteristics into our aggressive research and development program.

“Setting the Kilo record is a process and an investment we are continuing to pursue,” said Iconic Marine Group’s Joe Curran. “More important are the benefits, the process, and its results are to integrating into our production boats.”

The models will be on display at various events throughout the weekend, kicking off with the annual Festival of Speed Thursday night hosted by Iconic Marine Group’s premier dealer Big Thunder Marine, who is also a title sponsor of the Lake Race event and just completed a new state of the art showroom. The Festival of Speed is being held at the new facility.

“We are excited to bring the new 2019 models to the Lake Race event in conjunction with our dealer Big Thunder Marine,” said Iconic Marine’s Marketing Director Martin Rusin. “There is no greater place to show people what we are working on than Big Thunder and Lake of the Ozarks.”
