The Marine Trades Association of Maryland has elected John Norton, Annapolis Harbor Boatyard, to a two-year term president.

“I look forward to serving with this diverse group and working together to promote Maryland’s marine industry and its professional and boating interests,” Norton said. “Maryland is the best destination for recreational boating as well as those working in the maritime industry and there is much we can do to promote the industry as a whole.”

MTAM is a 350 member non-profit trade organization founded in 1972. MTAM is dedicated to promoting the recreational marine industry and the preservation of the waterways on which our businesses rely.
