NMRA welcomes affiliates Rutgerson, Kold-Ban
The National Marine Representatives Association recently welcomed two new affiliate members.
Sweden-based Rutgerson Marin AB engineers and manufacturers high-quality marine fittings and is a OEM supplier to Beneteau, Dufour, Elan, Moody and Storebro.
Rutgerson offers portlights, blocks, track systems, hatches, clutches and deck fillers and has dealers in over 30 countries on six continents, but only one in North America. Challenge Sailcloth is the company’s sole sailing hardware distributor in the United States.
Potential markets for Rutgerson’s products include OEMs and custom boatbuilders, online and street-side retail outlets, chandleries, boatyards and service centers.
Illinois-based Kold-Ban International, Ltd. supplies products for the supercapacitor/ultracap-powered engine starting and jump start market.
When installed on a boat, Kold-Ban’s KSM (KAPower Starting Module) eliminates no-starts from dead lead-acid batteries.
Lightweight and maintenance-free, three models are offered: 12V 6-cell, 24V 10-cell and 24V 12-cell.
Potential markets for Kold-Ban are retail outlets, chandleries, boatyards and service centers, marinas, boat and engine dealers, OEMs and custom boatbuilders. Additional industries are RV, agriculture, aviation, construction, and fleet trucking and busing.
