JERSEY CITY, N.J. – The Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers (SNAME) released their CD, Sustainability in the Maritime Industry, which focuses on solutions for emission control and environmental regulations of the EPA and International Maritime Organization (IMO).
This CD contains practical and theoretical knowledge related to sustainable design, environmental impact in marine design, and energy efficiency, designed to address concerns in the maritime industry about environmentalism and sustainability.
The collection of papers going back thirty years was edited by SNAME members Rich Delpizzo of the American Bureau of Shipping, Haifeng Wang from the International Council on Clean Transportation and Andrew Panek, engineer for ABS Americas.
