ATLANTIC – The marine industry along the East coast is preparing for possible damage to inventory with the landfall of Hurricane Irene in the upcoming days.
Marinas along the Atlantic have been working hard to pull boats out of the water quickly in order to prevent damage to inventory. Tide surges, along with high tides from the new moon, is causing the marine industry to take preemptive steps to prevent losses from Hurricane Irene.
Companies in the path of the storm have set up lists of alternate phone numbers and email addresses where they can be reached.
