Miami International Boat Show work with US Dive Shows to produce expo

MIAMI, Fla. — The 71st annual Miami International Boat Show will partner with US Dive Shows to produce the show’s 2012 Dive and Travel Harbor.

“Last year, we introduced the Dive and Travel Harbor to the Miami International Boat Show, which offered a variety of SCUBA, dive, and travel booths and interactive attractions and seminars, creating buzz amongst attendees. Due to visitor demand and the crossover between the boating lifestyle, diving and travel, joining forces with US Dive Shows, which has years of expertise in the diving sector, was a natural next step to expand on the show’s dive and travel element and open the show up to a new market,” said Cathy Rick-Joule, show manager.

US Dive Shows currently produces shows in Maryland, Texas, Colorado, Georgia and Florida, and will turn the Miami International Boat Show’s Dive and Travel Harbor into the premier destination for anyone interested in the sport of diving and avid travel enthusiasts.

In addition to hundreds of exhibitors offering everything from the latest diving gear and clubs to the world’s most renowned adventure destinations, the Dive and Travel Harbor will feature activities for those interested in exploring underwater as well as seasoned pros who want to find the newest gear in diving and gather with fellow enthusiasts. Features will include a demo pool, virtual diving, and more.

The Harbor will be located on the first floor of the Miami Beach Convention Center with easy access to the outdoor demonstration center.
