AOC announces price increase
AOC, LLC announces a $0.10-per-lb. increase on select white, off-white, beige, tan, gray, and other pastel pigmented gel coats, and up to $0.25-per-lb. increase on similar color ranges of liquid pigment dispersions. The amount of the increase is dependent on the formulation components.
New pricing is effective for all shipments after August 31, 2011, the company said, and it adds that this price announcement is in direct response to rising costs for titanium dioxide and other key raw material related components. AOC expects titanium dioxide prices to continue expanding to historically high levels due to strong global demand, and that global market supply conditions will limit titanium dioxide availability for the extended future.
