Marquis Yachts to create 379 new jobs
PULASKI, Wis. — Marquis Yachts will add at least 379 jobs to its Wisconsin facility, due in part to a $2 million incentive from a state program to stimulate economic growth, according to local news reports.
Marquis will receive the full $2 million if it creates 379. The announcement was made by Gov. Scott Walker, who visited the facility.
“With the world and what we’ve been through here in the yachting business, life has been difficult the people have been through a lot this will give them the chance to get a life back again,” Irwin Jacobs, owner of Marquis, said to Green Bay’s NBC affiliate.
Marquis expects to meet the quota by building mobile offices trailers that are used outside of supermarkets to showcase different products, the report said.
