Brunswick’s McCoy to give Marine Lending Conference keynote
CHICAGO, Ill. — Brunswick Corp. CEO Dustan McCoy will give the keynote address at the 30th annual National Marine Bankers Association (NMBA) Marine Lending Conference, according to a release from the NMBA. The conference is scheduled to take place Nov. 8-11 at the Westin Hilton Head Island Resort & Spa in Hilton Head, S.C.
McCoy will discuss industry issues including finding funding, navigating credit market upheaval, valuing collateral, accommodating changing federal regulations and gaining a realistic look at the future of the U.S. economy.
Other business sessions include an economic update with Wells Fargo Bank’s Gina Martin, who will offer views on credit market turmoil; a panel discussion on credit scoring with representatives from the Consumer Data Industry Association and a credit reporting agency; details of the Red Flag program; a session on determining collateral values; and NMBA President Jim Coburn offering guidance on federal stimulus programs to provide retail and wholesale financing.
