SACRAMENTO, Calif. — The Marina Recreation Association (MRA) has added three boatyard-related seminar events to its upcoming annual conference, according to a release from MRA. The conference is scheduled to begin Nov. 3 in Lake Tahoe, Calif.
The new seminars are Boatyard Equipment and Safety, Environmental Considerations and Practices, and a round table on Managing Relationships between Marinas and Boatyards.
The group said the new topics were added in response to interest from its members and the industry.
The 2009 conference is themed “Cruising into a Leaner, Greener Tomorrow.” The theme was chosen to highlight the marina industry’s role in reducing energy consumption and protecting the natural environment of our harbors, rivers and coasts.
