ABYC to hold free series of Webinars
ANNAPOLIS, Md. — The American Boat & Yacht Council will hold a free series of Webinars on ABYC certification courses and other technical topics, according to a release today from ABYC. Three different Webinars will be held on April 9 from noon to 4 p.m. eastern.
“During these difficult economic times, now is the time to build credibility even further as a marine professional and distinguish oneself from the competition,” said ABYC Education Director Mike New. “This is a free opportunity for anyone who has been thinking about becoming ABYC Certified to learn about the most popular certification topics, what is involved, and the benefits of having these credentials.”
The Webinars will allow attendees to become familiar with ABYC instructors, provide standards-based business tips and discuss the benefits of ABYC classes, according to the organization.
The schedule for the Webinars is as follows:
Noon to 1:00 p.m. ET
1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. ET
3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. ET
“This will be the first Webinar of this type that we will hold, and thus far, based on the strong response, we plan to offer more in the future,” said ABYC President Skip Burdon.
The Webinars are free and open to anyone, but space is limited and registration is required. Registration information can be found on the ABYC Web site, abycinc.org.
