Marlink to buy WaveCall from Sea Tel Inc.

OSLO, Norway – Marlink, the world’s largest maritime satellite communications provider, has agreed to purchase the WaveCall brand from SeaTel and will package its maritime VSAT solution and full-service support network with the SeaTel 4006 Ku-band antenna system, Marlink said in a release this week.

“Marlink and SeaTel’s long-standing relationship provides a strong foundation for this new agreement, which will maximize the potential of WaveCall as further strength to our VSAT portfolio,” says Tore Morten Olsen, CEO of Marlink. “This next generation of WaveCall combines state-of-the-art equipment with fast and cost-efficient service and support based on customers’ true needs.”

Marlink and its agents will be the customer’s one-stop point of contact for WaveCall.
