FAIRMONT, N.C. – Former McKee Craft Boats minority owner Huntington (Hunt) James has purchased a controlling interest in the company and is now the president and CEO, the company said in a press release this morning.
James has worked closely with a variety of clients in the marine industry. He has served in numerous roles at Raymond James & Associates, which his family founded continues to run. James initiated the firm’s purchase of the naming rights to Raymond James Stadium, home of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He is also co-founder of Digital Hands LLC, a managed information technology services provider.
James holds a bachelor’s from Emory University and an M.B.A. from the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business.
