DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Aqua Marine Properties LLC (AMP), a division of Aqua Marine Partners LLC, has entered into a third-party management agreement with the owner of Daytona Marina and Boatworks, New Dawn Daytona LP, it reported in a recent statement.
The facility, which will be doing business as Aquamarina Daytona, is the latest marina in Aqua Marine Partner’s growing network of full-service marinas. It features amenities such as a fueling station, Wi-Fi service, brokerage, full service boat yard and reciprocal privileges with other AMP facilities, according to the company. The marina also features a boaters’ lounge with laundry facilities and showers, dockage for megayachts up to 200 feet in length, undercover storage for yachts up to 116 feet and cable television hookups. There are plans for additional upgrades in the near future, said Michael Shanley, who heads up the marina management division of AMP.
AMP’s approach to marina management includes improving operational procedures and systematically implementing consumer-centric programs, such as monthly membership programs that include customized boat maintenance packages. Additionally, AMP will offer rendezvous and getaways to the Caribbean and other exotic locations, it stated.
Aqua Marine Properties management team is responsible for identifying strengths and weaknesses within marina operations and utilizing proven proprietary methods, programs and systems in order to strategically optimize operations, services and financial outcomes, it stated. Some of the services offered include environmental and regulatory support, human resources management, security and retail operations management. The company is actively seeking other third party management opportunities.
Aqua Marine Partners currently owns or manages marina projects in Florida and Georgia.
