National Marina Day names sponsors and committees
WARREN, R.I. – The Association of Marina Industries (AMI) has released the names of the sponsors and committee members for its National Marina Day, a nationwide celebration of America’s marinas, scheduled to be observed on Sat., Aug. 9, 2008.
This year’s Marina Day sponsors include Bellingham Marine, BoatUS Cooperating Marina Program, Eaton Marina Power & Lighting, Flagship Marinas, Formex Floats, HydroHoist International, Premier Materials Technology, Shoremaster, ValvTect Marine Fuels, Wells Fargo Insurance, and West Marine as the Official Outfitter and Marina DockAge magazine as the media sponsor.
“This group is crucial to the success of our event,” said Jim Frye, CMM, chair and president of AMI. “We have many returning sponsors this year, proving that sponsors see a benefit from their involvement with National Marina Day and realize the importance of this event for our industry.”
