Evinrude unveils spring sales event

STURTEVANT, Wis. – Evinrude recently rolled out the Evinrude E-TEC First Cast of Spring sales event, the company said in press release yesterday. From April 15 through June 30, all consumers who purchase a new boat package equipped with Evinrude E-TEC engines or re-power their boat with Evinrude E-TEC engines will receive a five-year factory-backed limited warranty. Re-power buyers can also choose a 12-month, no-payment, no-interest financing option or obtain a rigging rebate of up to $800. The offers apply to all new, unused model year 2008 and earlier Evinrude E-TEC engines 40-horsepower and above.

The warranty includes a three-year BRP factory warranty and two additional years of BRP Extended Service Terms coverage. Consumers who re-power or purchase and take delivery of an eligible engine from a participating dealer during the program period may also select one of the following options:

Revolving financing consisting of no down payment, no interest, and no payments for 12 months, or;

A rigging rebate based on engine horsepower as follows: an $800 rigging rebate for eligible purchases 200-horsepower and above; a $400 rigging rebate for eligible purchases 115 to 175-horsepower; a $200 rigging rebate for eligible purchases 40 to 90-horsepower.
