Challenger posts record shipments
WASHINGTON, Mo. – Challenger Powerboats, Inc. shipped a record 48 boats in February, the company said in a press release yesterday. The record-breaking month follows a similar ending for the company’s January shipments.
“Our final February count could have been even higher but not for some weather related issues as well as backordered parts in our supply chain,” said Laurie Phillips, CEO. “Those particular boats will now be shipped with our March orders.”
Growth in the company’s jet boat and tow boat categories helped Challenger hit the mark.
